In recent years, there has been an increase need and benefit for marriage preparation or pre-marital counseling. Many are alarmed by the grim statistics of a 50% marital failure rate or have witnessed first-hand the pain and trauma of failed relationships with their parents. The good news is you can increase your likelihood of success by engaging in pre-marital counseling in order to acquire insights and learn new skills to live a happy and satisfying relationship.

The Prepare/Enrich program has six goals with exercises designed to help couples enhance their relationship skills. The six goals are:

• To explore Relationship Strengths and Growth Areas
• To learn Assertiveness and Active Listening Skills
• To learn how to resolve conflict using the 10 Step Model
• To help the couple discuss their Family-of-Origin
• To help he couple with financial planning and budgeting
• To focus on personal, couple and family goals
